Natural History Museum

Here are skeletons, specimens preserved in alcohol, stuffed animals and live animals – one for each letter of the alphabet, e.g. P as in Pufferfish. A little story about each species reveals the mechanisms that formed the animal kingdom through billions of years.

The Museum’s other exhibitions are on the nature in the Danish countryside, of its plants and animals, their habitats and ecology and on the natural and human-induced changes to the country since the last ice age. Also there are systematic collections of Danish animals and large animals from the African savannah.
