Protection of your data according to the Data Protection Act
According to the Data Protection Act the City if Aarhus is obliged to inform you of a number of details regarding the management of the data you have provided as well as your rights in this regard.
How will the data you have provided be handled?
The data you have provided will only be used as follows:
- So that the City of Aarhus may know how many participants to expect for this year’s Aarhus City Welcome.
- For statistical purposes: how many have signed up for this year’s event, which nationalities are present at the event, what is the primary reason for our participants stay in Aarhus, how did they hear about the event, are they bringing any children and have they participated in the Aarhus City Welcome before?
- We (the event team) may send out a kind reminder of your sign up to your email a few days before the event.
The City of Aarhus does this to secure the best possible experience for all our participants at the Aarhus City Welcome.
Your name and email are deleted immediately after the Aarhus City Welcome you have signed up for. Eg. have you signed up for the event in 2019, your name and email are deleted immediately after the event in 2019.
The handling of your personal data is compliant with the Data Protection Act, Article 6, 1.
You have the right to withdraw your consent
You have the right to know which of your personal data we hold.
You have the right to request that the data is corrected or deleted.
You may withdraw the consent you have given to the handling of your data at any time.
